SK机房网络升级 最高带宽达到80G（维护通知20130108）

最新公告，SK机房将于美国中部时间1月6日升级芝加哥和大佛机房的网络，升级后的最大吞吐量将达80Gbps！
两个机房的网络构架完全相同，带宽和防火墙结构都将同步升级，时间都是美国时间的1月6日。
升级会导致大概1小时的网络中断，请各位知悉！

On behalf of Sharktech Inc., I would like to thank you for your continued business during the past year and to wish you the best of luck in 2013.

We are currently in the process of completing two major upgrades at both our data centers. One of the upgrades at our Chicago Data Center will require limited downtime, as noted below.

Chicago Data Center Upgrades:

    Upgrading our Edge router to increase network throughput. Router throughput will increase to 80Gbps. There will be no service interruption during this upgrade, which has an estimated completion date of 01/06/2013.
    Upgrading our Core router to increase throughput and performance. Router throughput will increase to 80Gbps. There will be an estimated downtime of less than 1 hour scheduled for Sunday 01/06/2012 at 11PM MST.
    Upgrading our Firewalls Infrastructure to increase accuracy and faster detection of incoming DDoS attacks. There will be no service interruption during this upgrade, which has an estimated completion date of 01/06/2013.

Denver Data Center Upgrades:

    Upgrading our Edge router to increase network throughput. Router throughput will increase to 80Gbps. There will be no service interruption during this upgrade, which has an estimated completion date of 01/06/2013.
    Upgrading our Core router to increase throughput and performance. Router throughput will increase to 80Gbps. There will be no service interruption during this upgrade, which has an estimated completion date of 01/06/2013.
    Upgrading our Firewalls Infrastructure to increase accuracy and faster detection of incoming DDoS attacks. There will be no service interruption during this upgrade, which has an estimated completion date of 01/06/2013.

We will also be updating our website and will provide new features and services throughout the month of January.

详情：

We have completed the network upgrades in both our facilities Denver and Chicago. These upgrades have increased our network throughput in our Denver DataCenter upto 40Gbps and our Chicago DataCenter upto 40Gbps.

We have also finished installing upgrade parts to our Firewalls and DDoS detection systems to increase systems accuracy and performance. During this month we will continue our network upgrades (these upgrades will be seamless), we will be adding a 20Gbps link with Cogent to our Denver facility and finalizing the upgrades to our Firewalls and DDoS detection systems.
